PAUSE AND PRAY

As we start let’s take a moment
      to pause, 
             to be still, 
                      to re-centre
our scattered thoughts
      onto God.

 

Creator God, my heavenly father, 
as I focus myself on you,
may my heart be open to your guidance
and may my mind be ready for your teaching.
May your Holy Spirit give me an awareness
of the fresh possibilities to grow in you today.
Amen.

PRAY
As we close today let's pray together

Loving father, thank you for giving us Jesus, the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Help me to fix my eyes on him as the ultimate gift this season.

Jesus, may I have the boldness to proclaim the good news of you to my family and friends.

Holy Spirit, use me to be a channel of blessing and encouragement to everyone I meet this week.

In Jesus name, AMEN!
