Pause and Pray
As we start let’s take a moment to pause, to be still, to re-centre our scattered thoughts onto God.

Loving Father, please help me to be still. I open my ears to hear You now and I quietly prepare my heart for all that You have for me as I approach the new year.

We REJOICE because we are not alone

God is always with us
REFLECT
Today we reflect on the words of Hebrews 13:1-8

Let the family continue to care for one another. Don’t forget to be hospitable; by that means, some people have entertained angels without realizing it. Remember people in prison, as though you were in prison with them. When you think of people who are having a difficult time, remember that you too live in a frail body.

Let marriage be honoured by everyone; let the marriage bed remain undefiled. God will judge those who misbehave sexually or commit adultery.

Keep your life free from love of money; be content with what you have. He himself has said, after all, ‘I will never, ever, leave you or forsake you.’  That’ why we can be cheerfully confident, and say, ‘The Lord is helping me; I’m not going to be afraid; what can anyone do to me?’

Remember your leaders, who spoke God’s word to you. Look carefully at how their lives came to complete fruition, and imitate their faith. Jesus the Messiah is the same, yesterday, today and for ever.

ASK
What is God saying to me today?

Have I lost my first love or become complacent with where I am at, and need to renew my hearts desire for more of God?

I pause to talk with God about this now and listen for what God might want to say to me.

How will I respond to what he is saying?

We respond to God's everlasting love with ADORATION

When I say your name
We continue to worship in ADORATION as we share the Lord's supper together
